That is a lovely...what the...oh that is nasty

i always drive with my windows down (when i can ). i love feeling the air blowing in the car. sure i have to turn my radio up a little louder but that is no big deal. so today driving to work i suddenly smelled popcorn. i took a couple more deep whiffs just to make sure...yup it was popcorn. so i continued to take deep breaths of this sweet scent when all of a sudden it changed. of course it didn't change for the better. all of a sudden it smelled like rotten potatoes that had been left in a garbage can for way to long. i tried to hold my breath for as long as i could but that is a little tricky when you are trying to drive. oh well...it was good while it lasted. back to work i go.

So long computer department

so an interesting thing happened monday...i got kicked out of the computer department. the short story is that my boss didn't want me in there so they moved me down to customer service ( where i used to work before i moved into the computer department ). at first i was pretty ticked off but then i realized that this is a good thing. lately i had been getting pretty stressed at work and i just had a bad attitude about even coming into work. so now i feel like i am actually included in the department. learning everything all over again sucks but it is better than not having a job at all. but the best part is that now there are only two people in the computer department...Scott and Earl. Scott took the day off today and Earl ( department head ) went to his daughters graduation. right before earl left he told cynthia ( our hr lady ) that if she had any problems come to me before she called him. YEAH RIGHT! he didn't want me in there so i am not helping. it is a little childish but you shouldn't burn a bridge if you might need to walk back over it later.

well, i am getting ready to head home. i hope everyone has a good weekend and maybe...just maybe i will finally get some pics of luke up here next week.

Bring it on

So today i learned that one of our sales reps was trying to blame me for a crappy buyback. as soon as i heard this i just laughed because i know that i did what i was supposed to do. I already couldn't stand this guy but this just frosted the cake. I really hope i get called into Jim's office and he tries to tell me that i did a bad job. i have at least 3 other people that can say i did what i was supposed to do. i love being right.

on a much happier note.....BABY CATE TAYLOR WAS BORN YESTERDAY!!!! talk about one cute baby.

and on the note of cute babies, i am going to try and post some luke pics up here soon.
