I am trying to avoid Harry Potter

trying to avoid hearing what happend to Harry Potter is like trying to avoid the plague. you know it is out there but you don't know exactly where it might show up. i have even gone so far as to not play warcraft because there are some real big jerks on there that like to ruin stuff for other people.

i can't say i am a huge harry potter fan because i haven't even read a single book. i do really like the movies though and that is what got me interested in the first place. so jac got me the last book and i am on page 137 now..only 600 something pages left.

Where does the time go?

i just looked at my last blog entry and it was a week ago! i have really been slacking on posting. lets see what is new with me. i am still taking online classes and i am still working. yup, that is about it.

this weekend we went down to the lake with jac's parents and sister and husband. i was a little worried that i wasn't going to have fun because i am kind of afraid of being in the sun for long periods of time. but i had a really good time. the best part of the entire trip was when we were on the pontoon and i luke was sitting next to me on a seat. he started getting sleepy so i got his bunny and pacifier and a few minutes later he was out. he actually fell asleep on my lap. so i just sat there and held him and soaked in the moment. i know these days won't last forever so i better take them while i can. there were a couple of other times where he only wanted me or jac to hold him ( he isn't feeling good ) so those were great too ( well besides luke not feeling good ).

Back in Murray

did you miss me? i have been at the beach ( Gulf Shores, AL. ) for the past week but i am back in town now. the trip was good. it gave me some time to relax so that was really good. we were going to play frisbee golf but the directions i got from mapquest sucked. we never found the place but we did have a good time driving around. at one point i was going a little fast and a cap actually wagged his finger at me...pretty funny now.

on sunday morning i caught a snake! it had climbed into our neighbors bird house and ate one baby bird and killed another. the third bird was still alive but i doubt it will survive. if it does though it would be amazing! i think it was a rat snake about 1 foot long but i don't really know for sure ( about what type it was ). i took it to a wooded area close to my house and let it go. i would have to say that was pretty fun.

how can you be mad at this kid?

you have to watch this. this is one of the funnier things i have seen ( well heard really ).
