i choose....now!

what time period would you like to live in? there are 3 that i would choose. the first is right now. for the most part life is easy. technology is at its best ( can you say computer? ). there isn't a draft that makes you go against your own morals. the depression sucked too. oh and i really don't have to worry about the bubonic plague either. plus i know now. i am used to living in this time. i have my wife, family and friends are here ( without them i would be nothing ). the second time period i would like to live in is when Jesus was around. i think it would be a lot easier to have faith when he was around. it seems to me that it was more real. more in your face. that must of been an exciting time. the third time period would be during the times of knights and swords. when everything was just a little more barbaric. the frontiers were a little more rugged. knowledge meant life. if you knew how to make a fire or fight with a sword then you knew how to survive. if you could read and write you were could be a scribe. there are a ton of bad things about this time but i would still choose it. just imagine riding off into the dense forest on your horse. barreling down the narrow path, feeling the wind whip your cloak. when it starts to get dark you dismount and setup camp. going to sleep you can hear the wolfs howl and the owls hoot. the insects are chirping and singning. you eventualy close your eyes and fall into a deep slumber. when you awake the sun is starting to rise and the birds are singing. you fix some food and feed your mount. you pack up and ride off, getting closer to your destination.
